GS Group was founded in 2002 – originally to manage its founder Gürsel Sen's shares in Bertrandt AG. Today it is an investment company focused on sustainable investments and innovation – based in Heilbronn, Baden-Württemberg, in the Heilbronn-Franken region.
As an investment partner, GS Group supports start-ups and established businesses with capital, strategic advice and access to its network.
Gürsel Sen has built and managed companies himself – in automotive development, from Bertrandt to ASAP. GS Group brings this experience to every holding: as a partner that provides capital and brings its own perspective.

Joining Bertrandt AG
After studying mechanical engineering in Heilbronn, Gürsel Sen joins Bertrandt; in 1993 he becomes head of the Heilbronn branch.
IPO
Gürsel Sen is involved in the IPO of Bertrandt AG.
Founding of GS Group
Initially to manage the founder's shares in Bertrandt AG.
Founding of ASAP Engineering
The company develops into a leading engineering service provider for the automotive industry.
Sale of the ASAP Group
The ASAP Group is sold.
